I haven't forgotten this website. It is important that the history of the sport gets remembered in Australia and across the globe.
With so much happening in the sport will be an ongoing task when I do.
But due to other exciting things happening in my life, it will be a while, before Im back in the groove here.

Hi Phil! Great collection here. I'm making a podcast episode about the history of long distance pedestrian races in WA as the distant precursors to the modern day Backyard Ultra, and our very own Phil Gore. I've noticed a few of the links are broken here, like the Norseman to Esperance one. Just wondering what that was? I can only find info on a cycle race.
ReplyDeleteStrangely i was also looking for interview subjects to do an episode on the life and times of Cliff Young (so this website was like hitting a goldmine). I know he was popular for a moment in the 80's but i really think he should be world renowned. Do you have any ideas on contacting Mr Greg Wilson to have a chat?
